Should not cost more than $250, plus your towing bill. Do not start or drive the car, the tiptronic tranny can cost upwards of $7000, nothing at a VW dealer is cheap.

windscreen`s been repaced...try at the side of the drivers seat see if carpet or plastics come off if not try along the bulk`s head & inner wing`s inside the engine bay i`m sure there should be stampped No`s there on all VW`s
