2003 VW Passat climate control swap from W8 to GLS?
Is it possible to install the electronic climate control (which comes standard in the W8 model) in the GLS? Has anyone ever successfully done this? I can't even find one for sale anywhere online. Only serious answers please.

Yes it is possible but not practical. You would need to buy about $2500 dollars worth of parts to make the change. It's not just the control panel that's different. Then you would need to get them installed and wired in so figure about $700 to $1000 for that.

p0300 code is for engine misfire common enough problem replace spark plugs and ignition coils 9 times out of 10 problem solved! may need to go on Scanner to clear fault code hope this helps

A Passat would not be my choice for a 1st car. I like them OK and 2 of my friends have them. But it is a VW with several 'luxury' items. That means more parts. That means $ when they wear out. The car is abt 8 yrs old; parts will start to wear out soon..... Of course, that holds true for...
