Now the mirrors are stuck folded in, defroster works and the actual mirror can be adjusted just want to know where the fuse or relay for the folding mechanism is?

Will a late model 2001 Volkswagen passat front clip bolt onto a early model 2001 Volkswagen passat chassis?
I have a early model 2001 Volkswagen Passat with front end damage. I would like to upgrade vehicle with the late model 2001 front clip as I like the improvements made in body styling. But I need to know if this is possible first without major modifications to early model 2001 frame.

Check the wiring in the door hinge area you may have a break.you may also have secondary fuses in another box.

2001 VW Passat V6 What is rhe after "after run water pump" and what does it do?
I don't know what it is supposed to do.

easy one! the after run pump simply keeps the water circulating after you turn the engine off to stop thermal expansion of the cylinder bores expanding and nipping the pistons in the bores after you turn the engine off [especially important after a good burn out or along run] IF it is not working...
