99 VW Passat not starting.?
All the electrical works fine, when I turn the key there is just a clicking noise. Any ideas? I'm new to VW's so I don't know my way around under the hood very well. Thanks. I know for a fact it isn't the battery, lights turn on and all the power windows work, etc. Just for kicks I tried to jump it and it didn't work, it just isn't turning over.

There are two reasons that any car won't start. Either your battery is dead or you have a bad starter. If the lights and dashboard display turn on when you try to start the car, it's obviously not the battery.
