1998 Passat Emblem Has Fallen Off?
The chrome letters that spell out Passat have fallen off on the the back of my car. How much would a replacement cost? Can I get it from the dealership? Thanks

Cheaper to just get a set at a salvage yard. In fact, you could put any lettering you wanted on it, if you used the adhesive letters they have at Home Depot.

1998 Volkswagen Passat Steering problem?
Before you all tell me "have a professional check it out" im going to, just gotta wait for my next paycheck. its a 1.8t 4cyl btw. Anyways the steering stutters and moans while in low speeds (like parking at college, driving in town, ect..) and it keeps losing power steering fluid, but the fluid is all bubbley and crap so im guessing there is air...

One way of reducing damage while waiting for the paycheck is keeping the fluid topped at all times. Otherwise a more expensive damage may occur. The problem is probably with the rack seals. It won't be very cheap, but try not to make i more expensive by neglecting the problem. Consider not...

the brakes, or the clutch? in either case it sounds like it needs a master cylinder they do go bad, and need to be replaced. Its always a good idea if you can to get a brand new one, they tend to last a lot longer than rebuilt ones do.
