Can you add two turbos to a 2.0 2001 Jetta?
I have a 2001 Jetta 2.0, it says it runs to 160 mph but it only went too 100 mph and no more! i want to add an intake and if possibly make a twin turbo. I know there is a 1.8t but I don't know if i can make it possible! this will be my car for a very long time so I want to put money in the car!

You can do it, but keep in mind that a turbo kit costs about $2000 and one turbo is enough. You don't wanna have more than 200 BHP in a Jetta since it's FWD. If you have more than 200 you'll get terrible torque steer and it'll suck. Since they're limited, you can get an...

Test drove on with 190,000 once. Ran good but the clutch was done. 1.8T. My son's 2000 has 140,000. runs great. Needed suspension bushings replaced recently.

Catalytic converter for vw jetta 2001 2.0 engine?
Hi, my 2001 Jetta 2.0 has 180,000 miles on it. I had the engine light on for years which the problem is the catalytic converter. I recently failed the VA emission test and I need to change catalyic converter. I called a shop and he was asking for about $1000 for labor and parts to repair. what do you guys think?

Buy an aftermarket catalytic converter, such as Magnaflow, and get it installed at an exhaust shop. Will be WAY cheaper.
