Golf GTI Alloys on a new Polo Match?
i really want to get some GTI rims for my polo but i wanna know if they will fit. i been looking on the internet and they appear to only be avaliable in 17". does anyone know if that will fit on a polo match? (new one)

The only thing is it will still be a Polo match It will still have the same top speed as a polo match It will still accelerate the same as a polo match You cant polish a turd.

Car help needed on my 1985 wolkswagon GTI?
i need to change my whole transmission or fix it but either way i need help it always wants to pop out of gears. 1st and 2nd gear dont work how can i fix or how do i change my transsmision please tell me step by step or a website link would be great thanks in advance

before you jump to terrible conclusions, at least be sure that the shift linkage is adjusted properly.(haynes manual tells how, bentley manual is way better)

Stabiliser link on an Almera GTi, should they be torqued down to a given setting, or just FT?

Hi there, I presume that your Almera is the N15 model, torque the nut at anitroll bar to 36-38 lbs/ft and the nut at suspension arm to 12-16lbs/ft. Hope this helps. Reference:veh tech 25yrs+ exp and current nissan mastertech uk(10yrs)

I agree with majority of answers. The cost will depend on how well the car was serviced thru its life. However, the car itself is great for reliabiliy. I had a 1986 GTI that I drove for 8 trustworthy years. Then my son drove it for another 4 years. The car was absolutely bullet proof. Except for...

The 2009 Volkswagen GTI lands somewhere between less-mature small, sporty coupes and hatches, like the Civic Si and Mazdaspeed3, and more mature, entry-level sporty luxury coupes like the BMW 1-Series.
