Why not just keep it simple and tape around it with masking tape and newspaper as far out as you need it to go. If you are using a rattle can this definitely can be done. Quick job and you don't have to find more adhesive and won't have to wrestle with getting the clip on one back on. T

Can you go Stage 2 with a 2006+ GTI if its a DSG or only Stage 1?
Like the title says, is it possible to go stage 2 in a DSG GTI? if yes, will it affect the transmission because of the power and everything? or can it only do stage 1, which means chipped, intake, and exhaust? thanks.

The dsg transmission in the gti only can take up to 250 hp no more. That the way is designed you could reprogram the whole computer system for it and might take a little more than that. For serious tuning they say should by the 6 speed manual. Reference:Own a 06 GTI with dsg

Polo GTi 2006+?
I'm thinking of getting a stage 1 remap and I was after a bit of advice on doing this on this car. Has anyone had this done on a polo?

No and I doubt anyone else has. A 2006+ car will still be in warranty, which would be invalidated with an engine remapping.
