Is there a way to adapt the connector of a 2002+ Monsoon CD / tape player unit to a 2002 VW GTI?
Plz help! I bought a Monsoon CD / tape player dual din unit to replace my existing tape only Monsoon unit in my 2001 GTI, but the harness is different. Is there a way to adapt it? Also is it true that aftermarket stereos can burn out the dealer's diagnostic computer by overloading the K-bus?

Where is the TCM located on my 2002 Volkswagen GTI 1.8T vw?
Recently, the car has been acting up. On cold starts, it will not go past 1st or 2nd gear, once it warms up (about 10 minutes) the car runs smoothly thru-out the day, what could be the problem? I am trying to get the TCM out to see if thats whats faulty, but can't seem to find it, anyone know where it is? Thanks!

Your TCM is located under the cowl ! I can tell you that a tcm will not fix this problem ! I am almost certain that you will need a valve body! It sounds as if it is warped and restricting fluid flow until it heats up and allows for proper flow! Reference:VW tech

Where is the O2 sensor on a 2002 Volkswagen GTI?
Source: Yahoo! Answers, 1 answer

Right in the exhaust pipe. A 4-cyl will have 2 oxygen sensors, one before the catalytic converter, and one after it. A V6 will usually have 4 sensors, 2 per cylinder bank

For that kind of problem i would have to say to get under the hood from the inside of your car and change it from the inside, thats the way my car is anyway.
