Can you take a 2009 VW Eos through a car wash?

Yes, but it isn't a good idea. I have put mine through one before, but the top isn't designed for the high pressure of a auto wash. Hand washing is always better. Reference:experience

When will the 2009 VW Eos be available?

It should be out by the last quarter of 08 in Germany and used first mostly by factory staff for a period so earlier fault and quality issues could be reported and addressed before mass production for the export markets should take place. This should happen early 09. I hope this helps...

The Volvo C70 is tighter and more handsomely built than the Eos, but its high-strung turbo engines aren't as relaxed.

The Saab 9-3 is also another good, practical choice—with an especially roomy trunk—and due to its soft top, its top-up driving experience includes a bit more road noise.

Other four-seat convertibles like the Pontiac G6 and Chrysler Sebring offer folding hardtops, but their fit and finish fall far below the standard set by the Eos.
