No because safety depends on the driver. All the reviews I read say a properly equipped Tundra would tow 10800 but not knowing if yours is properly equip and if you drive safely. No because yours must not be properly equip if it's tow capacity is only 10000...

Can you damage an 06 Tundra in 4WD Hi by driving too fast?
I've never owned a vehicle with 4WD capability. If I put it into 4WD Hi, how fast can you drive (weather permitting) without damaging the transmission...or doesn't it really matter?

If your using it on pavement, STOP....using 4WD on hard surfaces will bind the drive line when you make turns causing damage that you really don't want. If you think you need it on the highway at high speeds you are wrong.
