Its a little high for a 2006 vehicle. It was probably highway miles and its not really a big deal on a Toyota anyway.

I have a 2006 Tundra Double Cab with a port installed (dealer) remote keyless sysytem. How do you program it?
I bought new remote thingies cause the others were lost and they want way to much to program them. That isn't fair to charge a hundred dollars at the dealer for a simple something that they keep secret. Please help if you know, thank you.

In terms of U.S. averages of miles driven a year for light trucks, its slightly above average miles. But honestly, 81,000 miles is not that much for a Toyota. It will last much longer than that provided its maintained properly.
