The 2.4 had 2400 on the top of the valve cover. If you can't tell by that look it up by the vin.

ok so i bought a 2006 toyota tacoma and down by the area to pop the hood there is a black button that says "Set". can someone with a tacoma look it up in their owners manual and let me know what this button is for? thanks

Thats the TPS (Tire Pressure Sensor) reset button. You press that when you rotate the tires, adjust the pressure for temperature change or tire size.

Has anyone ever Rhino Lined their entire vehicle (inside & out)?
I've got a 1997 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4X4 that I wanted to fix up. I've heard of people rhino lining the inside of their jeep, and in their fenderwells. Well I was looking to rhino line the bed(black), the entire inside cab(black), exterior(fire engine red), and the underside(black). Has anyone ever done something similar to this? rhino liner aprox.cost for the bed is $400.00 so if you did the whole truck $4000 you cant line the under carriage you will never be able to remove any bolts/parts that may need replacing. i have seen a 07 f350 that had it on the sides kinda like a landscape with scenery on paint above it they also...

Both the Colorado and Ranger feel inferior and outdated compared to the Tacoma, with subpar interior appointments and a lack of safety features, but the Ranger makes a strong case as one of the only true compact pickup designs left—and it's very fuel-efficient in basic four-cylinder form.

The 2009 Toyota Tacoma rides harder than the comparable Nissan Frontier models but doesn’t handle quite as well.
