all the supras run the same size engine. the turbo ones run a 2jzgte non turbos run the 2jzge. as for top speed unrestricted i have heard as high as 180mph is possible but with factory settings they are limited to 155mph. the limiter an be removed with ecu upgrades. for for reaching 800+ hp it will...

My toyota supra 1998 twin Turbo vvti suddenly developed a loud exhaust noise, anyone know any solution?
The noise is coming from the area between the turbo outlet pipes and the waste-gate on the manifold, the sound is excessively loud, as if there was no exhaust on the car, but there is, and I checked for holes, and there aren't any, is it possible that then waste gate valve is jammed in the fully open position, the car is not down on power or turbo...

Very strange. If the wastegate was wide open I can imagine it might do something like that. But I would think the boost would suffer. Are you sure a Gasket somewhere hasn't failed? With the blow off valve, wastegate, and Turbos all requiring Gaskets it would be easy to for one to fail and hard...
