2009/2010 Toyota Matrix Bad on 4th Gear?
Hi, I just got a new Toyota Matrix Base Automatic model and was driving on highway today and I noticed that when I drive over 110km/h (63mph) the rev is already at about 2800rpm and at 120km/h it's about 3000rpm. My question is does the base model that still use less fuel than the S (XR) model at the same speed? thank you.

ya the xr uses more fuel cause its all hooked up lol the base model has almost no power lol so it doesent use any gas really

I was looking through the new 2010 Toyota Matrix catalog and it looks like they have only the xRS and S type in there. Do they also have the xR for year 2010? Actually, the 2010 Matrix's are at dealerships right now and have been for a few weeks already. At this time, I don't believe that they are building an XR model. The only AWD Matrix model is the "S" If gas mileage is what you're after, go with the base model or look at a Corolla. I agree with the...

Does the 2009/2010 Toyota Matrix show entire song titles on XM?
Does the 2009/2010 Toyota Matrix (the model that does not have the touch screen navigation system) show entire song titles through XM radio (in a automatic scrolling mode) or it is only limited to the text that can fit on the screen? If there is a way to do so, how is it possible?

Hello there i am afraid not. I have a vitz rs 2007 model that has the same problem . Probaply toyota dint think of that :P there is no way to fix it. I would say to buy a new radio the stanar one isnt very good. Reference:Myself
