I have a 2001 toyota highlander.the fuel injection system acting up?

Fuel injector cleaner. Also it could be air sensors, it might think there is more air coming in for some reason, and give itself more gas...

Does Toyota Canada offer any incentives for paying in cash?
I'm looking at buying a 2009 Highlander and am able to pay cash. Can I expect to get a discount from the dealer for paying in cash?

If you're paying cash, you should be able to negotiate on the price.

2004 Toyota Highlander Maint. Light?
I recently purchased a 2004 V6 Toyota Highlander. What I thought was a great car may be a nightmare! I have had numerous problems in the six short months I have owned it, but most recently my problem lies with the 'maintenance required' light. Out of the blue, weeks ago, I turned my car on to find the light blink five times, then turn back off...

I would find a mechanic (recommended by a friend) and get it diagnosed, they usually charge a fee like $40.00 to hook it up to a computer and tell you what is wrong with it. They will deduct the diagnostic fee if you have the work done in their shop. Dealers tend to charge the most for repairs...

Keep an eye on your fluid. A small leak isn't going to kill your car's power steering, but running it without fluid will. Keep checking the fluid and filling as needed until you can get it fixed. The grinding noise will probably go away once you have put the right amount of fluid back in...
