2001 Toyota Camry Solara In the Snow?
Hey, I found an awesome 2001 Solara. V6, manual, front wheel drive, coupe, 92,000 miles. Camry's reliability with sporty features. My one question is, how well do these drive in the snow? I know most people say "A FWD manual is fine with good tires" but it does vary car to car. So anyone whose driven one in inclement weather, please resond. Thanks!

I own a 1999 Toyota Solara SLE V6. It has good new tires and it drives very well in snow here in the northeast where snows are big! With good all season tires, it will be fine! And your right, a Solara is one HOT car! Reference:1999 Solara owner--bought new.

Did you lock your keys in the car? The Camry is universally reviled by locksmiths and tow truck operators for this very reason. You can still use a slim jim to pop the lock up, but you need another person to quickly open the door as soon as the lock is popped. If you are trying to steal the car...

While I am not sure if all '01 camry XLE's have heated leather seats, I know that they are available because my friend has one with heated leather seats. I would assume that a call to a toyota dealership could answer your question.

1998 Toyota Camry Transmission Flush?
I need to do a complete transmission flush on my 4cyl camry and have been getting mixed information on how much fluid i need. I will be using a machine to do the flush, if anyone knows how much fluid i will need to flush out all the old oil I'll be very grateful. thanks that makes it clearer im actually taking an auto tech class and my instructor...

Well, you need lots LOTS more than what the car usually uses. Because the brand new fluid is used to push out all the old stuff. So for example only--since I do not know ANY amounts or quantities--let's say your Camry takes 3 Qts of ATF. Then you might need a gallon or more to use in the machine...

Why should I also consider these? X

Except in sporty SE trim, the 2009 Toyota Camry has perhaps the softest, most comfort-oriented ride among mid-size sedans.

The 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, however, also emphasizes ride quality and comfort, and it has more distinctive styling, equivalent performance, and more impressive materials and quality.

The Malibu also includes electronic stability control on all of its models except the base LT.

The new-for-2009 Accord has—compared to the Camry—a stunning interior, especially in the more expensive V-6 models.

The Fusion and Altima have a sportier driving feel but are a little smaller inside.

The Volkswagen Passat is another good alternative to the Camry—especially with the base 2.0T four-cylinder engine—but beware of spotty reliability.
