Can I add power locks to my 2008 Suzuki Reno?
I just bought it today, love it, but has only power windows, not locks. I went to an alarm place and they said yes I can add alarm and power locks for the keyless entry, but my question is really if I'm picking someone up, am I still gonna have to scoot to the right to open the door manually, or will the kit have a button that can be added for...

If all the locks work together as you described than they must be power locks. Sometimes the button is not on the door, is it on the center console? According to Edmunds.com power locks were standard equipment on your car. To answer your question yes it is possible to add power locks to a car hat...

What does the HOLD button do in My 2008 Suzuki Reno?
I always press it and the HOLD light comes on, but nothing happens.

2008 Suzuki Reno Questions?
Does anyone have any experience with this car? Are they reliable? My fiancee bought one about a month ago totally brand new and we're a little concerned about a couple of things and just wanted to know if anyone else out there is having trouble with these cars. Thanks!

Reliable as far as mechanics go. Door handles break a lot. Air bag light has been a issue. Excellent warranty, but dealer service varies greatly from location to location. 2008 is last year of production for Reno/Forenza. LOTS on the road though so parts will be readily available.

Why should I also consider these? X

A well-optioned 2008 Suzuki Reno competes with Suzuki's own SX4, which has standard all-wheel drive, along with better real-world fuel efficiency, handling, and safety than the Forenza.

In fact, the Suzuki-made SX4 is better in just about every way but interior space.

Kia's Spectra5 is also much more entertaining to drive than the Forenza and has much better fuel economy.

Then there's the Dodge Caliber, a more upright design that pays off in a roomy interior; if you're willing to spend more, the Caliber has a wide range of innovative available options, such as fold-out tailgate speakers.
