I would always go for a Britax Isofix seat. You can download all the info from their site. Isofix means you get a really secure attachment to the car without having to rely upon the car seat belt.

'09 Suzuki GV AUX help?
I have an '09 Suzuki Grand Vitara and I had a question about the AUX. I see on the dash there is a "CD/AUX" button but I have yet to find an AUX jack. Does anyone know anything about this? Or what I have to do?

The button will switch from a radio station to the cd player and if your have a optional ipod or mp3 cable added to the radio then they will become active with another push of the button. Both of the "optional" cables plug into the rear of the radio thus requiring radio removal to install.

WEll, it's heavy, it has energy-sapping four-wheel drive, and it has the aerodynamic efficiency of your local town-hall. Are you EXPECTING it to be good on fuel? Prepare to be disappointed!

Why should I also consider these? X

For the price of a similarly equipped four-cylinder compact SUV, the Grand Vitara offers a V-6.

But the Jeep Liberty is a the better choice for demanding off-roading or towing, while the RAV4, with its especially useful third-row seat, is a top pick for those who plan to stay mostly on-road.

The Liberty's interior is quite cramped, though.

The Sportage, RAV4, and Escape all benefit from carlike handling to bring more security to curvy roads, but none of these models are very proficient in towing.

Then there's the Grand Vitara's cumbersome spare tire on the back hatch, which handicaps cargo loading (and visibility, slightly); the RAV4 also follows this silly arrangement.

Value for money is a real selling point for the 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara.
