Green rectanglular light on Suzuki Aerio?
My mom has a 2003 Suzuki Aerio manual transmission. This evening when she started it, a green rectangular light appeared on the digital display to the left of the speedometer. There is no symbol or lettering to tell us why this has come on. She turned off the car and restarted it but the light remained on. What does this light mean?

first get you a Chilton's or a haynes book they tell you just about everything about your car you can pick those up at the your local auto parts store for about 15 bucks next i would check the switch it sounds like a bad switch i would all most lay money on it just from what you are describing...

Suzuki belts maintenance ?
i have a suzuki aerio, 2003, about 73,000 miles. I was just told I need a new serpentine belt. I just got a new one of these in march of 08- which is just under 2 years ago. Is this normal or is something else going on here? Maybe something else is wrong causing them to go bad too quickly? Or is this the normal timeframe to replace these?

You do have 4 bulbs in the back of the cluster for backlighting...some may have burned out. If they are ok then time for a new cluster. Not unheard of on Aerio's
