Exhaust for 2005 Forester XT?
I am interested in changing the exhaust on my forester. So far, I have only found that the Injen Forester XT Cat Back Exhaust [INJEN SES1206RS] Would Fit. I am not a fan of the tip size of this exhaust (I think it's too small), but Injen makes a universal muffler. Is it possible to switch the muffler on the catback with the Injen Universal...

Kartboy short shifter for 2005 forester xt?
I came across this kartboy short shifter on rallysportdirect It says that it works on the 1997-2004 forester xt. I haven't found any other kartboy short shifters specifically for 2005+. I need to replace the rotors and brake pads on my car and after calling around I've been told I can get Wagner pads for $47.99, Duraplast for $26.99, organic for $23.00 or go all out and get ceramic pads for $54.00. The car has fifty-five thousand miles on it, so I want this to be last time I have to do this. Should I go with the ceramic pads?...

Subaru 2005 Forester?
The check engine light and cruise flashing came on. Diagnostics confirmed it is the catalytic converter P0420. It is a 2005 with 68,800K miles. Is Cat still under warranty?

DTC P0420 CATALYST SYSTEM EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESHOLD (BANK 1) its not necessarily your catalytic converter. it can also be your rear oxygen sensor and air fuel ratio sensor as well. when these sensor circuit malfunctions it usually gives this code. get your sensors checked out first before you get...
