If you have a baja bug is there another way to change it back to stock without getting like a new body?
i might be getting a baja bug for 150 and i dont want baja so i want to know how i could change it to stock or if i should just keep the motor and sell the body and get a stock body.

If it is a heavily modified tube-frame chassis with large tires and "A" arm suspension that has like one foot of travel, then no. It will not be easy.

Thinking about buying a baja bug...help?
My husband and I are going to look at a 1967 baja bug and was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to pay attention for. We're not experienced in cars and not sure what to look out for. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Simple Advice. Due to your lack of experience: DON'T BUY IT. Most baja's were hastily built by drunks in their backyards with shoddy parts and even worse craftsmanship. AS neophytes to the car world, you have no idea what horrors lie ahead in such a vehicle, nor how to fix them. Move on...
