Opel Astra H - 2008 (secret menu)?
I have some problems with the battery and the U30 shows 13.3 - 13.1 with the engine on and radio and consumers off. What is the normal value?

Normally the charging voltage would be around 13.8 with the engine running. Sounds like the voltage regulator is bad. Try checking it with it running and with the lights on. If it is even lower then the regulator must be bad.

Vauxhall Astra Life 2008 Key Fob Operated Windows?
I have just bought a 2008 vauxhall astra life and have ben reading that certain vauxhalls such as the vectra have windows that can be controlled using the key fob and was wondering if my particular car has this feature. Only the front windows are electric and the lock and unlock buttons are on the key to the ignition. Can i operate my windows...

Your Astra Club does not have this feature. On Vauxhall cars that do you press once to unlock & then press & hold, this will open the electric windows. If you press once to lock the car then press & hold the lock button on the key fob the windows will close.

Saturn Astra 2008, 36k miles, comments please.?
It's a used Saturn Astra 5-door hatchback. Sure, the car looks nice, but I am definitely not concerned with that. Please tell me how Astras run or if Saturn cars are rumored to be junk, etc... It is a rather small car so is it safe or good in snow/rain?

Frist I must tell you that Saturns as an American made car are very well made, have very few problems mechanicaly. And since 1991, when they were frist made, have had only 1 manufacture recall on there product, if Im not mistaken. Second, I have owned 5 Saturns, and have not one bad thing to say...

Whistling noise from my 2008 Astra SRI 1.7 CDTI. ?
I have noticed since about 4 months ago when i received the car that inside you hear a whistling noise, i dont seem to hear it on the motorway but it is usually all ways there. Definitely sounds like the turbo if it's noticeable whilst accelerating, unless it's developed a bit of a manifold leak somewhere.
