In dire need of a 12800531 SAAB amp for a 2003-93?
My amp.(the one under the driver's seat) has water damage. Does anyone have access to one, or know somebody who does? The part number is 12800531, and it's for a 2003 saab 93. Thanks.

Should I buy an extended warranty for 2003 Saab 9 3?
Just bought a 2003 Saab 9 3 yesterday. Love the car, but it is about to hit the original warranty of 50,000 miles. Should I buy an extended warranty for this car? I know nothing about the car other than it was a leased vehicle previously. If a warranty is recommended, any ideas on the best company to go with?

I believe that you can still purchase a Saab certified extended factory warranty. I would go to a Saab dealer and ask them if you still can. This warranty effectively gives you a 2 year or 100000 mile warranty whichever comes first. The only catch is that it is applied from the "original"...

I'm looking to get a used Saab. Should I go with a 1999-2003 9-5 Aero sedan or a 1999-2003 9-3 Viggen sedan?
I know the viggen will be harder to find. Any specific year (1999-2003) to watch for, for either model?

The 9-5 was essentially unchanged mechanically from 1999 to 2009. It had one constant problem, the Direct Ignition Cassette (DIC). I have a 2003 jetta and was thinking about a Saab instead. It's all preference. Don't let the fact that saabs are discountinued scare you. I think jettas are awesome cars and good looking too but the Saab 2.0t is going to be better looking and possibly a little faster. But again...
