What engine can you replace with the stock 2008 boxster S engine?
is there any brand of engine ex. AMG or saleen engines....any brand that can be replaced with the stock 2008 boxster S engine...an engine that will completely blow away the stock engine with a ton more hp?

You will need a Boxer engine. A Boxer engine is a horizontally opposed engine, or FLAT. It is not a V or Inline(Straight) engine. like V6 or Inline-4. You would need another Boxer engine. The largest engine that can fit is the 3.8L Porsche 911 Carrera S engine with around 380HP. Most people swap...

yes, I have 18" 911 turbo on my 2004 boxster and the lug pattern and offset are the same as 1999
