i have the 1999 oldsmobile silhouette.same thing as your van.3.4liter engine.i had the same problem with my trans.we had the trans changed and when we took it apart we found all kinds of metal in the pan.the shop told me that the trannys are not the best and when you have them rebuilt you should...

Keyless entry remote?
I own a 2006 Pontiac Montana. And the keyless entry remote died. Has anyone else had problems with the remote failing?

Take it to a dealer they will test it for free. We have seen a lot of solder joints fail on them you may need to redo it or it could be the battery. It may just need to be re-sequenced to the van. Reference:Gm dealer for 10 years and counting.
