any procharger/turbo will not damage your engine as long as you have low psi. But gaining 20hp from a 6k kit is kinda pointless. But your engine can handle the pressure so i won't really worry about doing much damaged to your engine.

Yes, it will override the governor and let you reach a higher top speed. Make sure you have good tires before trying to over ride the 160mph governor. Plus if you have a stock 04 (especially an automatic) it will take you awhile. It will give you a few ponies. I would recommend getting a custom...
