I have a 3.1 the hisses at higher RPMs and under load. but idling it's fine. I think it's the intake gasket but not 100% sure. Have not done a vacuum test yet. Replaced EGR valve and Oxygen sensor due to code saying they were bad and they were pretty rough when i took them off. Any ideas? Thanks!! Actually it loses power with any more then 50%...

ok so i just recently bought a new battery because the cells on my old battery were completely dead, i took my alternator to get tested and it came out good. now im wondering what the heck can be my prob, im only 19 yrs old and have very little experience with car probs.any help will be really appreciated.

Take a DC voltage meter and test the battery terminals with the engine off you should get a good 12.5 to 12.9 volts from any brand new or good battery.Once you start up the engine try the same test again and it should be a good 13.7 or more volts if the alternator is okay and if the voltage is way...
