So does that mean that my 93 Grand Prix is a collector car now LMAO. Why would the do that Buick sucks balls they don't sell as well (in america) as Pontiac and the G6 was their best selling car. What was the thinking behind this?. The G6 was PONTIACS best selling car not GM's. READ THE QUESTION LOL.

Although you type like an idiot, you ask a good question. They haven't been very open about the reason. Here's what I think it is: GM doesn't make money on cars. Pontiac doesn't sell anything but cars. You can imagine, then, that they don't have the ability to make money on Pontiacs. I think that's...

For 2009, the Pontiac G6 lineup is simply outclassed by a host of other top-performing mid-size vehicles.

The Honda Accord Coupe starts at about the same price as the G6 Coupe but has an elegant interior that looks and feels in a class above the G6; the Accord performs modestly with its economical four-cylinder engine, and it's available with a more powerful 3.5-liter V-6 and six-speed automatic.

The Nissan Altima Coupe is closest to the G6 Coupe in execution; it has a sportier feel like the G6 but strikes a better balance of ride comfort and crisp handling.

Next to the G6 sedan, the Fusion feels sportier, with its crisp, direct steering and responsive engines—it’s also a top-performer in safety—but the G6 has a more spacious backseat than either the Fusion or Altima.

The Altima stands out for its simple but very tasteful interior design and nice materials.

Both the Toyota Solara and Chrysler Sebring have quite soft rides, modest backseats, and roomy interiors.

The Sebring isn’t any more appealing than the G6 drop top, but both models start at several thousand dollars less than the 2009 Pontiac G6 Convertible.
