They're nice. My wife had a 2000 Bonneville SSEI, that she wishes she still had. They have average reliability. They are comfortable but sporty as far as the ride. As for being an "Old Person" car the people on the "Pontiac Bonneville Club Forum" would disagree...

I have a 96 Bonneville SEEI and it does that to some times I don't think its anything to worry about mine has 104K and it runs fine.

Pros and cons for buying a 2005 Pontiac Bonneville?
I want to buy a used car. My budget is $10,000. I LOVE the looks of the Bonneville. Who has expert advice (or experience) about why or why not to buy a Pontiac Bonneville. Any input is appreciated.

If you choose one, go for the supercharged SSEi. It is the top of the line Bonnie. Though it is a little overweight, the car is still neat. Personally, I prefer the Grand Prix since they are lighter, and thus able to make better use of the S/C. They also pull off a sportier look, but if you like...
