My 2004 Pontiac Aztek refuses to start, specifically the key.?
My Pontiac Aztek will not allow me to turn the key when I put it in. It does not have my key locked in or anything, it just refuses to turn when I put my key in it. Whats the problem and is there anyway to fix it by myself?

What you describe is not typical as a ignition key switch does not brake from one day to the next. It may be the colom lock acting up as this is not uncommon with GM products. Moving the steering wheel slightly may solve the lock up while working the key lightly as well. I suggest having the lock...

2004 Pontiac Aztek - Bad Gas Mileage?
I have a 2004 Pontiac Aztek FWD, 62,000 miles. I ran out of gas yesterday, filled up, and now all of the sudden I'm getting terrible mileage. What could be wrong or what do I need to replace? I assuming having run out of gas had something to do with it.

I took it to a mechanic last week, who said he put fluid in the steering column pump (this is a new one on me!) which should solve the problem. The whistle now comes & goes. This morning I had no power steering for about...

He put fluid in the power steering reservoir. Now either he did not put enough, it needs bled, or you have a leak in probably one of the lines, or rack. Check the fluid level (wheels straight), then if it is ok, turn steering wheel back and forth (stop to stop) about 10-20 times to bleed.

I have a 2004 pontiac aztek fully loaded?
and for some reason i keep blowing out head lights how can i go about fixing this the dealer says that the electrical is fine and the globes are not leaking

When you put the light in are you touching the bulb? Try a different brand of bulb. I have seen some get a build up of moisture in them causing them to blow. I know you say they are not leaking but check them for condensation in the morning. If you have a small bit of water we have had good luck...
