Unfortunately the #1 #3 and #5 are out in the open on the passengers side and #2 #4 #6 left side front to back hidden under the intake manifold plenium. Better leave it to the professionals and there are several coolant hoses that should be replaced while your in there. Reference:Nissan master Tech

Glitch in wiring possible in my 2000 Nissan Xterra, where should I go?
My a/c is not working correctly (but sometimes does) and my radio cuts out when the music is bass-y or for no reason it seems. I can hear the a/c come on when it does work...with a clank noise...which leads me to believe it is electrical. But my question is this...what is my best bet for getting these things repaired? Dealer (no help previously...

I am willing to bet it is the AC temp sensor inside the evaporator case. Called by Nissan (thermo amp). It will work flawlessly at the dealer but the A/C wont turn on intermittently. Ask the Nissan dealer if your AC not turning on could be a thermo amp problem. There may be extra load or shorted...

Where is the relay switch on a 2000 Nissan Xterra for the power door locks?
My keyless entry remote will unlock all my doors, however my interior door lock switches do not work at all. When I do press the interior door lock buttons I hear a clicking noise by the interior fuse panel located on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. I don't exactly know what the problem is, but it was suggested that the clicking noise...

No relays except in the smart entry control module that is a beige colored box with a white and black plug right under the dash near the steering coloum. the switches send un lock and lock signals to the smart entry box that inturn operates the actulators inside the doors. There is a 40 amp circuit...
