New 2009 Nissan Versa.....very unforgiving on rough roads?
Ok, I have had my versa for 6 months now, and still love it. Only issue I do have with it is it is VERY unforgiving with going across rough roads....probably not an issue in most places, but I live in a city that the roads are not going to get any better.....most roads are rough, potholes are everywhere, man hole covers are often sunk just as bad...

If you let air out of the tires you will completely ruin your fuel economy.. dont do that! Sorry but your factory springs/shocks are going to be softer than any of the aftermarket springs/shocks. When you buy higher quality springs/shocks they are stiffer to improve handling.. which means the ride...

Don't listen to Rhymes. Yes, it is a great deal. The Japanese small car market is the only thing selling right now. I sell Toyotas and we cannot keep yaris's and corolla's in stock. Even if they didn't discount the car at all, run out and get it before it sells. You're getting a 2009 Nissan out the...

I'm not much into repairs and maintenance, but check your Nissan dealer & talk with them. I am not quite sure if you can install the fob system if it's already a non fob system but what do I know? Reference:Whole family [but me] Owns a Nissan.

I have a 2008 versa sedan. You dont have the flat rubber button thing under the lip that electronically unlocks and opend the trunk???? As long as the car is unlocked you just put your fingers in that spot and you hear a click and the trunk opens. Look under the lip of that crome peice are you sure...

Why should I also consider these? X

Hands down, the best vehicle in this smallest, cheapest class of cars is the Honda Fit.

The Fit is admittedly more expensive than the rest, and it's only available as a hatchback, but it feels sporty and substantial on the road, with good safety, responsive performance, and an excellent Magic Seat arrangement in back that trumps ordinary fold-forward arrangements.

The Chevrolet Aveo is the other pick of the bunch for ride quality, but the Aveo has unimpressive fuel economy and safety.

The Toyota Yaris has the best fuel economy, at up to 36 mpg highway, but it doesn’t feel as roomy or refined.

Kia's Rio and Rio5 hatchback feel sportier than the rest of the crowd, as does the xD.
