Yes, a 2008 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SL is a very reliable car. If it is a new car, it should have a 4 year 50K mile warranty to help with any problems that do come up. I own a 2006 Spec-v and i love it. I do have the 6 speed on mine but i've driven a couple Nissans with the Cvt transmission and they are really smooth and seem to always have enough power. I've driven both the SER and SER Spec-v and i am partial to the Spec-v but i don't know what you're looking...
