2007 does not have a shut off valve. Sounds as if some one has used a non programed key Nissan Imobilizer has detected the aftermarket non programed or key with chip embedded in the key has failed. After 4 attempts the car turns on lock mode and it is tow truck time. Gather up all the keys you have...

Quest has a bleeder screw on top the manifold and technicians will lift the front of the van up to aid in burping the air out of the system. I also use a tight fitting funnel to raise the water even higher & run the heater knob turned to hot. Be very careful the motor will splash out hot coolant...

Replacing a 2002 Nissan Quest Thermostat?
Okay here is what it is doing---- I am not to smart with vehicles but my quest runs hot one minute and the next it is fine. Everyone tells me that it is the thermostat. For example the heat sometimes won't work and other times it does. Does anyone have instructions on replacing this part and what other tools I will need. I thought at first that it...

Slow down what you describe is low coolant level. The only way to burp out the air out of the cooling system and jack up the front of the van and motor off fill the entire cooling system with a proper mixture of antifreeze coolant and water. I recommend topping off at the radiator (cold motor)...

Do I need a new starter or a new battery? Nissan Quest -1997 ?

(Now the...

First thing is buy a battery brush at auto store. Remove the battery terminals and clean them and the battery posts till they SHINE. If this don't do it then look at the voltmeter on your dash. You should have at least 13 volts. If not you need to have the battery tested at auto supply and maybe...

Why should I also consider these? X

None of the Quest's minivan rivals look as sharp from the outside, but from a purely practical perspective, it has many strong rivals with excellent seating layouts and kid-friendly features.

The Kia Sedona and its twin, the Hyundai Entourage, have nearly matched the best sellers in the class with strong V-6 power and flexible interior seating, though available features lag somewhat.

The Toyota Sienna has good performance, plus a version for disabled passengers, while the Honda Odyssey has its famed Magic Seat and a silky powertrain.

The Dodge Grand Caravan has all sorts of convenient storage and seating options, as well as enough DVD players for a mini-theater.
