Would it be to risky to install a low mileage engine in a 1999 Nissan Quest?? Bad idea?

12 year old quest You may not need such a large van just to go back and forth to work. Just what is going bad with the motor? Used engines are a good option to get it running so you can sell it before the trans our other major systems fail. Just removing the motor the mechanic finds the torn axle...

Check your local salvage yards or on ebay.

It is under the intake manifold, in the valley of the engine between the cylinder heads. The intake manifold will need to be removed. Reference:Ford Certified technician ASE Certified technician Ford Certified Diesel Specialist 18 years experience

the labor itself should be fairly cheap... it's no more than an hour's job.... the part might be around 100 bucks though... it's just a senser that tells the computer how the engine is moving according to specs... haha pretty dumb it's just another part to go out. doesnt really affect anything...
