I like the style of the smaller 01, I've driven the 06 and it feels sluggish and heavy, is the 01 sportier? And do they get the same mpg? And what major features are standard on an 01? (bose, hid lights, etc...)

id say go for the 5th gen, (01) because, its sportier, and like they said doesnt have the sluggish feeling. id get the 02-03 maxima, because the 01 only has 222 hp at the crank where as the 02-03 models have an upgraded 3.5L 255 hp engine. My 2006 maxima was in an accident. I did not get it fixed from the nissan dealership?
I had an accident and did not get the car fixed from the nissan dealership but now i am having problems with that car. Does anyone know if I take it to nissan would it be covered under the warranty. i do have extended warranty as well. any help would be greatly apperciated . . .

I would start by calling your insurance company, any damage done in an accident would not be covered under your warranty or service contract but should be covered under your insurance claim. Take the vehicle to your nissan dealer and they will determine if it was accident damage or another problem...
