I have a 2001 nissan maxima and the dealership just replaced the IACV but it is idling very high?
It is idling between 2000 and 2500 rpms. The dealership is telling me that I need to replace the ECU (about 1500 worth of work) does this make sense?

There is a plastic cover held with 4 3mm allen socket head cap bolts that covers the 3 front bank coils under the coils are 3 plugs now look at the back manifold there are three coils back there. Magnetic 10mm and 8 mm sockets are really helpful and deep 5/8 spark plug socket and locking...

How do I know the Slave Cylinder for 2001 Nissan Maxima is bad. Dealer says to replace without even checking.
Clutch became spongy yesterday, and this morning clutch would not come back up. Towed to dealer. Dealer says line is leaking (reservoir for clutch is empty). He says most likely the Slave Cylinder was damaged by running with reservoir empty. Any way to verify this before shelling out $500 to the dealer? Would it make sense to suggest the dealer...

Sounds like the dealer is taking you for a ride. $500 is a lot of money for that!! You are absolutely correct in rectifying the leak first. Get your local mechanic to look at it, then get your parts from Autozone or Advance Auto Parts. Forget the dealer.

How much would it cost to have a body kit installed and painted on my 2001 nissan maxima?
Just trying ot figure out if it's worth it and if it would be affordable.

Well installation would cost around 100$ like the person above me specified. For me, i scratched thee hell outta my front bumper and basically got this guy who restores bumpers for nissan to repaint it all for me. It was like 125 $ =D. But if you go to a body shop to get it painted they gotta order...
