What happens if i put midgrade fuel (89) in a 2000 nissan maxima SE?!?
i just pumped $20 in midgrade fuel (89) and my tank was completely but i normally pump regular (87) and i dont wanna move till i know its safe for it to be in my tank. PLEASE HELP!!! so is it okay if i keep pumpin midgrade (89) after this? like will my car adjust to it with out any problems?? hmmmm..... my service enginge light just came on after...

Your car is fine back in the old days when we didnt have knock sensors and things like that it was bad but in a 2000 maxima your ECU will conform to the gas type and it will be 100% ok.

Probably the best bang for your buck mod for a 5th gen Maxima is to buy an aftermarket Y-Pipe. Start off at around 200 or so. It gives the car an instant HP boost. Some dyno numbers have indicated that it gives roughly about 15 HP to the wheels. Or you could do headers but are a pain if you are...

How do you replace the power steering belt on a 2000 Nissan Maxima?
I have already removed the drive belt, loosened the tensioner for the power steering pulley, and loosened the bolt on the tensioner. However the pulley won't drop down so I can put the belt on. Anyone have any ideas what I am not doing or what I am doing wrong?

Just one more 14mm bolt on the back side of the powersteering pump you will need a 24" extension a 14mm universal wobble socket and a light loosen that piviot bolt(located in a bad place) you have to work above the exhaust and between the exhaust and engine block. after that the pump will be loose...
