How high can u make jeeps yjs with the leaf spring suspensions?
Hi well i have a 87 yj and right now its 2.5 inches lifted so i was just wondering how much higher i can make it with the leaf spring it already has and how much it would approximate be without labor but just for the parts.. thanks

Remove the (4)bolts that holds the spring to the rear end ,now that you have the bolts loose remove the metal plater that the bolt run through ,you should now see a nut & bolt that runs through the springs to hold them together,remove it,you may need to slide the metal clips . This is going to...

I want to know how hard it is to swap leaf springs from under the axle to on top on a 1982 chevy luv 4x4.?
i want to put a small suspension lift then a body lift on it. but first i want to know how hard it is to swap the springs over the rear axles.

You will need to weld. You have to remove the spring pads form the bottom of the axle and move them to the top. Or you can get new pads for the top. Either way you will have to weld them on. Then you just bolt it all together. Should give you 2 - 3" of lift
