Fuel pump is in the tank. Fuel filter is along the left frame rail. You clean it by replacing it. Reference:18 year Mitsubishi Master Technician.

What exact type of headlight bulbs does a 1998 mitsubishi montero sport have?
ive been wanting to install an HID kit (10000k) but i cant figure out what type of bulbs my car has!! im thinking its H4 or som3thing like 9007?? help please, thank you

i cant say for sure, but an easy way to find out is to go to walmart and read the book they have in the headlight bulb section. also, go to Andysautosport.com and find you vehicle. they only sell vehicle specific parts, so that takes the hassle out of it. good luck man!

No. If you don't have any fuel pressure, replace the fuel pump. Make sure you have spark and that the timing marks are correct for the cam belt. Reference:Mitsubishi Master Tech

Get another motor its only a 2-3 bolts and a couple wires not hard at all. You don't need to be a mechanic/electrician to do it.
