Mistubishi Montero Sport 1997?
So i am buying this car. It has 167,000 miles on it, its very very clean inside and out. only thing is it burns oil. Is this normal for this car because of its age? Any knowledge on these cars i should know before buying it? If you own one do you like it and if so why? Thanks

167,000 is quite a few miles on a vehicle. If it has been properly maintained, it should go many more. The oil burning is more than likely the valve guide seals are worn. Not an uncommon problem on high mileage vehicles. To get it repaired correctly, it will need a valve job requiring the head to...

Buying a ECU for a 1997 Mitsubishi Montero Sport 3.0L?
I know that going to a junkyard will get me one, but I am looking for a refurbished one (possibly with a warranty) or perhaps, someone who will repair/refurbish the one I have.

If you get a rebuilt or a recycled ECU you probably will need to get the immobilizer unit that was matched to the ECU. If it is not available you will need top buy a new immobilizer and program it to the ECU you will use. Time to go to the dealer! Reference:Mitsubishi Master Tech

Just, it's been snowing for the past month straight, and now it's raining. Let me explain it... Back when it was snowing, my windshield wipers were frozen to my window and I tried turning them on. After I...

Something must be loose or broken. Look in Chiltons Auto Repair manual- or any good manual for that model car. They have them at the library, if you want to save money and not buy one. Maybe you'll get lucky and find good used parts at the auto salvage yard if you need them. If you're luckier...
