Question about my 2005 Mazda RX-8 Grand Touring?
Hey there I have been driving around for about four years with my car and it's been going great. I have a built in gps system and I was wondering that it's about time I update it. How do I update it? I know I need a dvd but I can't find online what dvd to purchase. Online they only have them for the major gps (garmin, tomtom etc) I was wondering...

Find out what Mazda is using for 2010. Get the specs and features of the unit, then match it up with an aftermarket system to avoid the dealer markup and you will be a happy man. In fact, go look at it yourself, find out if it is driver friendly. Best.

How much do you think I should get for my 2005 mazda rx-8 with 28,819 miles on it. No crashes or anything?
its in perfect condition, I went to a nissan dealership today and they would only give me 14K for it. Is it me or is that total BS?

$14k sound right if your trying to do a trade-in at a stealership. They have to make a profit. If you want to sell the car for what its actually worth, your going to have to sell it as a "private party" car. You'll find that you won't have the acceleration power of a piston engine but you'll have better handling. I say the Rx8 will...

Anyone have issues with the clutch from 2005 RX8?
Clutch issues involving going into reverse, dealer states not covered under warranty and is normal wear...not a lot of miles on car. Think it's a linkage issue and wonder if there's a recall on it. Dealer states there isn't but don't believe much research was completed on their end.

2005 is very young for that sort of failure. There may not be an official recall on it, but it may be covered by a hidden warranty (secret warranty). Ask dealer if there are any service bulletins on the issue. Good luck! Reference:http://ehow.com http://swopnet.com/hw/index.html http://lemoncity.com
