2008 MAZDA5 suspension Problems?
I know the 06 & 07 had issues with suspension. Do you own a 2008 mazda5, have you experience any suspension problems so far?

you know about complaining people who take every hole on the road and all bumps they see there is no problem, or any recall about suspension problems, if you drive avoiding obstacles your suspencion will last forever but if you dont you will be another one who has problems with cars and then blame...

The Mazda 5 is made in Hiroshima Japan and imported to the US by boat. Reference:Mazda USA

I'm looking at buying a 2008 mazda 5. They seem to have a pretty good rating.?
Does anyone have any experience with the car? I'm a little concerned about the low profile tires. Do they wear out quickly? Are they costly? Can you get a "standard" tire for them?

Yeah, get it:-) They share engines and chassis with the rest of Mazda's models and these are proven to very reliable and economical. In fact, the Mazda 5 is probably the best driver's minivan on the market, the ride feels more like driving a normal car. That's why you get low profile tires:-) But...

Does anyone know when the 2008 Mazda5 comes out?
More importantly, does anyone know if they are changing the position of the back row seat belts? I went to buy a 2007 and test drove it to find out that the back row seat belts are not compatible with booster seats and why else would I want a six-seater if I can't haul older kids in them?

A 2008 model car rarely comes out in 2008 - it's usually late 2007. Anyways, everything I've seen just says "this fall." try calling a Mazda Dealer (they will probably try to get you to buy a 07 so they can make room for an 08 so tell them you only want the 08). Here's a link to a Mazda forum with...

Why should I also consider these? X

With a base price of just under $18,000 for the base Sport, the Mazda5 is quite a deal for a sporty, economical people-mover, provided you watch the options; fully loaded, the Mazda5's top Grand Touring model can top $28,000.

Kia has a lineup of vehicles that are especially friendly for urban dwellers who want a lot of people-hauling ability and yet need to fit into a compact-only parking space.

The Sedona is one of the few remaining minivans sold in a maneuverable short-wheelbase version.

But there's also the Rondo, a vehicle that looks a little odd but does everything right in terms of people-hauling and interior comfort.

The Rondo has hinged rear doors, however, and only offers an automatic transmission.

The Kia doesn't have the Mazda5's tight handling, though with either of the Rondo's four- or six-cylinder engines, it feels peppier and more refined than the Mazda5.

Among other offerings, the RAV4 is one of the few compact SUVs to offer a usable third-row seat.

The Scion xB might suit those who don't really need a third row of seating, as its stylish, boxy body affords a roomy interior, with perky performance and fuel economy that's as good as the Mazda5's.
