2009 Mazda CX-7 vs. 2009 Nissan Rogue?
I'm in the market for a new SUV and am debating between either the 2009 Mazda CX-7 and the 2009 Nissan Rogue. Which one would you choose? They are pretty comparable and I find myself going back and forth...and I'd appreciate your input! Thanks :)

The CX-7 is not int he same class as the Rogue. The CX-7 would compete against the Murano. The Rogue is smaller, doesn't perform as well, and probably wont hold it's value as long. The CX-7 is also much safer. It has 5-star crash test ratings for front, rear, driver, and passenger. It also has a...

My Mazda CX7 key has remote lock/unlock buttons. One day, my wife says the key would beep a few times in row, then stop. She checked the car thinking it was some kind of warning that the car had a break-in, but nothing was wrong. She returned, and it beeped a few more times, but eventually stopped. I've never heard my key beep ever. Does anyone...

weird. I noticed my mazda 3 alarm beeps funny if I try to lock the car but left a window down or the trunk ajar. You made me curious. I am going to read my owners manual to find out if my car does what you described.

Mazda CX-7 manual transmission?
Do any of the CX-7 Mazda's come in a 5- or 6-speed manual transmission or has Mazda decided to make all CX-7 (and perhaps CX-9) vehicles to 5-speed automatics only.

not shure about other countries, but in the U.S. all cx7s and cx9s came with automatic 6 speeds. Reference:a love for all things mazda!

The Acura RDX, a performance-oriented crossover that also packs a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, all-wheel drive, and a suspension that's tuned for sporty handling, is probably the closest rival to the 2009 Mazda CX-7.
But the RDX's interior feels plusher yet sporty, there's more usable backseat space, and its powertrain feels and sounds more refined, with a bit less harshness and better responsiveness at part-throttle than the CX-7's engine.
The RDX also has a more advanced all-wheel-drive system that is harder to fluster in brisk driving on curvy roads.
The EX35 is a new competitor to the 2008 Mazda CX-7, with an excellent interior design and sharp handling, but its interior is also somewhat cramped.
The BMW X3 offers a similar package, though its six-cylinder powertrains are more refined and sophisticated; however, the X3's interior trails the competition in appearance and materials.
As a wild card, there's also the Subaru Tribeca, with quirky styling inside, sharp handling, and a surprisingly fun-to-drive feel on the road, thanks to the responsive flat-six engine.
But what's the CX-7's biggest advantage? Its price is significantly lower than any of these rivals.
