Problem with windshield washer on a 2008 Mazda CX-7?
Somedays it comes on and the fluid comes out- other days it does not. Temperature does not seem to be a factor. Interestingly, the rear fluid seems to spray without any issues all the time. I would think it's on the same fuse/pump, etc. What could the issue be? There is plenty of fluid. It's working today but yesterday nothing!

Have you been putting regular water in the reservoir the windshield washing fluid. Regular water can clog the spray nozzle.

pry silver strip from plastic peice behind it. Phillips or 7mil to remove all screws. Pretty easy. I added a nav to mine. Damn I love this car. No matter what car we have on the lot I can't imagine giving up my 7. You have 2 or AWD?

2008 Mazda CX-7 squeaks on rough bumpy roads - passenger side dash?
2008 Mazda CX-7 squeaks on rough bumpy roads - passenger side dash. Anyone find a solution for this? It's high pitch squeaks, when going over certain rough bumps. Like mice are living in there squeaking away. Is this just chassis twisting and nothing can be done?

It may be the suspension is not properly lubricated on that side of the vehicle or a bad shock.

Why should I also consider these? X

The CX-7's closest rival is probably the Acura RDX, a performance-oriented crossover that also packs a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, all-wheel drive, and a suspension that's tuned for sporty handling.

But the RDX's interior feels plusher yet sporty, there's more usable backseat space, and its powertrain feels and sounds more refined, with a bit less harshness and better responsiveness at part-throttle than the CX-7's engine.

The RDX also has a more advanced all-wheel-drive system that is harder to fluster in brisk driving on curvy roads.

The EX35 is a new competitor to the 2008 Mazda CX-7, with an excellent interior design and sharp handling, but its interior is also somewhat cramped.

The BMW X3 offers a similar package, though its six-cylinder powertrains are more refined and sophisticated; however, the X3's interior trails the competition in appearance and materials.

As a wild card, there's also the Subaru Tribeca, with quirky styling inside, sharp handling, and a surprisingly fun-to-drive feel on the road, thanks to the responsive flat-six engine.

But what's the CX-7's biggest advantage? Its price is thousands lower than any of these rivals.
