How much would I get for a 2002 Mazda 626 LX 2.0L 4 cyl in good condition everywhere else, except the engine?
I recently had to take my car to the mechanic and found out the sound I was hearing (like someone was hammering) in the front of my car was my engine knocking due to driving with no oil in it. I did not have a leak or anything, but I did get my oil changed 3wks ago and the place that changed my oil obviously did not put enough oil in it and i...

As long as the only real big problem is the engine $500 should be very easy to get. I recently sold a 1999 mercury cougar with a totally blown engine and I got $800 for it. You should try and put it on craigslist for $1000 OBO and see what kind of offers you get. Thats what I did. As long as you...

2002 Mazda 626 LX. Keyness entry.?
I thought my car should of had keyless entry. Does anyone own is car that can tell me. Or is it the ES models?

Not all of the LX models had keyless entry in 00-02. Call the parts department of your nearest Mazda dealer and give them the VIN number from your car. They can look up in the parts catalog and find out if your car has a transmitter. If your VIN lists a transmitter, then your car has that option...

Ran a search and only can find...

I do not think a "air dam' is your problem. It sounds like your cooling fans are not operating properly. An easy way to check is when the car begins to rise in temp, turn on your a/c and see if your temp goes down. If this is the case you probably have a bad coolant temp sender.

2002 Mazda 626 Idle adjustment?
4 cyl. can anyone tell me how i can manually adjust the idle for the car ?? it's a little too low and runs kind of rough if the AC is on. seems like it kind of wants to die. im thinking the idle is too low (around 800) let me know what you think thanks for all your info guys, but it's so typical of the MAZDA guy to give as a solution one of the...

It could be an Idle Air Control Valve that's causing that. I'm not 100% sure if the CEL light will come on or not if it's messing up. I'd at least have someone check it out. If it turns out to be the IAC Valve, your Mazda Part # for the IAC Valve is FSN5-20-660B and lists for $488.28. You'll also...
