Flashing "O/D Off" Light on 2000 Mazda 626?
Yesterday my O/D light started flashing. I checked to see if I had accidently hit the button (which on the transmission stick) but when I clicked it, it wouldn't shut the light off. I have driven the car since then, both on side streets and on the highway with NO sign of transmission problems, but the light is still flashing. Anyone have any clue...

That's the signal that there is a problem with the trans. Kind of like a Check Engine light for a transmission. Gotta take it in and have it checked. if the trans is only 18 months old, dig up your receipt and take it back to the shop who installed it and have them fix it.

Need help with my 2000 mazda 626?
I HAV A 2000 MAZDA 626 2.0 4CYL. I'VE REPLACED ALL RADIATOR HOSES AND REPLACED ALL CLAMPS WITH NEW ONES SOME HOW I AM LOSING ANTIFREEZE FROM MY OVERFLOW CONTAINER EACH TIME I FILL IT UP? I ALSO PUT A NEW RADIATOR AND BY-PASS HOSE ON AS WELL? CAN SUM ONE HELP ME OUT THANKS.

well are you leaking it? like when you leave it parked for a while is there antifreeze on the floor? cause if theres not what i would check is the oil. maybe your intake manifold gasket is broken and its leaking through there into the oil... idk its just a suggestion without actually looking at...

How do i take off the speed limiter on a 2000 Mazda 626 ES 4-cyl?
I have a 2000 mazda 626 and whenever i hit about 85 mph the rpms stay at about 2500. Is there a speed limiter on my car because of the factory tire rating? if so how do i remove it? and please do not leave answers that just say that speeding is illegal. Thanks to anybody who leaves a helpful answer

You must have some other issue; I had one of those (same year, same engine) and it had no trouble doing 90-100 mph. (I think I topped out at 104 mph.) The OEM tires were H-rated, which means 130 mph, though the four-cylinder version clearly won't do 130. And at 90 mph, the engine was turning...
