its just the lights that look a bit similar to me. edit: hmm, yeh im seeing it more now. ford doesn't own rover. rover is dead, and hopefully wont come back. although i believe the chinese are re-hashing the old designs. OP, you are correct in saying the mustang v8 was used in the rover.
