I'm thinking of leasing one...I had a 2005 model and it was great...but the 2008 seems unchanged. Is it still a great vehicle?

if your rx has been GOOD to you, get another. . leasing is great on these vehicles as they have no surprise of sudden devaluation at the end..just incase you want to trade before the lease is over.(see gm and ford over- inflated residuals...you'll get a good laugh)

How do I override the Navigation System on my 2008 Lexus RX350?
I know that there is a way to override older Nav Systems through a series of taps which get you into the diagnostic mode. From all the research I've done, this is not possible on the later model cars. From what I have found, the only way to "fix" the Nav System is to take apart the dash and cut some wires. Same as my car Monsoon radio. Just burn a bunch of MP3 on a CD and play them. That is all. An iPod does not send "MP3" format to the radio, just the sound and is amplified by the stereo. If you car has a plug for it, you can plug any audio device, like a Powered Mic, TV, DVD Player, Guitar, iPod...
